As the appetite for fast food and fast casual dining continues to grow, Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top apps in this category on the iOS platform in Australia for the first quarter of 2024.

MyMacca's saw a notable increase in downloads starting from 14K in the first week of January and peaking at nearly 31K in mid-March. Weekly active users fluctuated, with a low of 359K in early February and a surge to approximately 427K by the end of March.

KFC - Order On The Go experienced a similar upward trend in downloads, beginning the quarter with around 15K and reaching over 20K by March's end. Weekly active users dipped slightly in February to 156K but recovered to 178K by the quarter's conclusion.

The Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering app showed a steady performance in downloads, starting at nearly 12K and climbing to over 13K. The app maintained a consistent level of weekly active users, hovering around 115K throughout the quarter.

Domino's downloads ranged from 7.5K to 9.5K during Q1, with weekly active users starting at 46K and experiencing a slight rise to just over 46K by the quarter’s end.

Lastly, Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican showed a steady increase in downloads from 7.2K to 9.1K. Weekly active users saw growth, starting at around 21K and reaching nearly 23K in the last week of March.
